Expert Surgical Care by Mr John Sharp

Mr Sharp leads a complex cataract clinic in his NHS practice and is the cataract surgery lead at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He performs both routine and complex cataract surgery, toric lens insertion, as well as YAG laser capsulotomy.

He also offers keratoconus, pterygium, dry eye and other corneal treatments. 

Appointments are typically scheduled for up to one hour to allow detailed discussion, measurements, and time for questions. Mr Sharp received fellowship training in cornea at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He is a surgical trainer for the East of England Deanery. Educated at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, he has been a consultant for over 7 years.
